The James F. Sullivan Scholarship Fund was initiated in 2004 in memory of Coach Jim
Sullivan, one of the founders of Bay State Baseball Camp.

Coach Sullivan was a teacher and coach at Somerset High School and instilled in his
students and players the importance of hard work, team work and good sportsmanship.

Thirty-one young men and women from Bishop Stang, Dartmouth, Dighton-Rehoboth,
Joseph Case and Somerset High
Schools, who exemplify these qualities have received
the scholarships thus far.  Three of the recipients are
former campers at Bay State Baseball Camp.

The scholarship is funded by private donations.
In addition, $10 from each summer application is
allocated to the scholarship.
